What the letter is
One email a fortnight. What we have published, one thing we have changed our mind about, and one piece of research described properly rather than summarised into a headline. No advice, no products, no schedules and no guilt. Unsubscribing takes one click and works immediately.
The sponsor line
Each issue carries one sponsor line. It is labelled as a sponsor line, it appears after the editorial content, and it is visually separated from it. It is a single short block of text supplied by the sponsor and checked by us for accuracy, not a piece of writing by the editorial team pretending to be one.
One issue
A single labelled sponsor line in one edition.
Three issues
The same line, or three different ones, across three consecutive editions.
Registered charity rate
Applies per issue to any organisation with a registered charity number.
What sponsorship cannot buy
It cannot buy a mention in the editorial part of the letter or anywhere on this website. It cannot buy sight of the editorial content before it is sent. It cannot buy a veto over anything. It cannot buy exclusivity over a subject, so sponsoring an issue does not stop us writing about a sponsor's field or contradicting a sponsor's claims. It cannot buy any influence over an evidence framing. And it cannot buy the subscriber list, which is never shared, sold or rented, to sponsors or anyone else.
Who we will not accept
The same list that applies to listings. In particular we do not accept sponsorship from anything selling a developmental outcome to parents, anything clinical or quasi clinical, or anything with an affiliate programme.
Your address
We use it to send the letter and for nothing else. Details are in privacy.
